“Greg Henderson took great care of me. He delivered me beautifully to 250 meters which allowed me to open it up and hold it to the line. It was a fantastic day,” said McCabe when asked about the win.
In addition to getting the stage win, Daniel Jaramillo was just off the podium in the overall General Classification in 4th after the final stage. “We saw a great team this week. It was tactically possible to get bonus seconds for Daniel Jaramillo, so we went for them which pushed him up to fourth place overall, said director Hendrik Redant.
The win in Langkawi is the third for American McCabe since joining the team this season.
