It’s been a hard week at the North Star Grand Prix for the women, with Lauretta Hanson and Katie Hall going down in the criterium on Wednesday. Plus another tough criterium stage on Friday night kept the women fighting.
After a tough crit last night the team came out fighting today and rode a really smart and well executed race, attacking and countering at great moments to deliver Ruth to a fantastic sprint victory. With the top 3 on GC separated by just four seconds, tomorrow promises to be a great battle.

With half the race over the team pushed to get a breakaway started with Rushlee Buchanan making an escape with three laps of the circuit to go. However, with one lap to go Rally started to chase hard and the peloton caught the break on the final climb. Tayler Wiles made a hard attack on the closing lap and taking Ruth Winder, Emma White, and Marlies Mejias with her.
Tayler led it out fabulously and I took the win.
