Technical Finish Suits Summerhill
Stage 3, at just over 118km had a technical finish after a series of climbs.
“I felt really good today. I’ve had a great time racing at the Tour of Taiwan. My team did a great job racing as a unit and clearly it paid off with a victory, which is always the plan,” said Danny after the stage.
When asked how the day played out, Hendrik Redant said
“Today was going to be a decisive day. The plan was to have Lachlan Norris and Danny in the front at the start of the last climb. The finish was very technical which suited Danny. Lachlan did a great job controlling the Colombian rider who won the first stage and Danny finished it off as champion.”
After his win Summerhill takes over the race lead and will wear the yellow jersey going into stage 4.
